Mother Pool
World boss
- Levels 30–30
- Sized for 5–40 players
- Sedgemoor
The mother of every leech in Rotmire lives at the bottom of Mother Pool. Three times a day she heaves herself onto the shore; her poison turns the water green, and the whole marsh brings her down together.
Getting in
Wakes at Mother Pool, south of Sedgemoor Ruins.
Loot and the daily lock
Everyone who did at least 2% of the fight gets a chest of their own, once a day for each boss (the day turns at 04:00), however far above it your level is. A chest left unopened goes into the bag after 10 minutes.

The fight (tap to show)
- Mechanic damage
This boss's marks deal a fixed amount set for its level (30), in place of the blow multiples below: a move you could dodge 346 damage, a hazard 303 damage, its signature failed 476 damage, burning ground 104 damage a second. More levels and better gear mean more health, so the same hit takes a smaller part of it. Armour, shields and barriers turn aside at most 20% of it.
- Toxic Wave
It marks a ring round itself (radius 4 tiles); 3.3 s later everyone inside is hit for 2.3 × a normal blow. It keeps still meanwhile.
WhenIn turns, one move every 7.5 s, the first 5 s into the fight.
EnragedA move every 5.5 s; the ring grows to 4.5 tiles.
TipWalk out of the ring at once: in 3.3 s you cover 11.6 tiles, enough even from right next to it.
- Leech Rain
It marks a circle under each of its 6 nearest foes (radius 1.8 tiles); 2.6 s later they all come down at once, 1.8 × a normal blow.
WhenIn turns, one move every 7.5 s, the first 5 s into the fight.
TipStep out of your own circle, not into a neighbour's; then keep out of the spore clouds.
- Brood
Leechling (level 28) come at the crowd from the edge: 3, and one more for every 5 in the fight (at most 8).
WhenThrough the first phase, every 32 s.
TipA few of the crowd turn to them while the rest keep at the boss.
- The Pool Rises
She sinks into her pool and the green water floods the shore (18 tiles round the pool), marked 6 s ahead. The log rafts on the shore stay dry (painted pale on the ground): whoever is not on one, nor beyond the water's reach, takes 476 damage. Each raft holds the crowd ÷ 6 (at least 2), written over it: one more and it sinks.
WhenFrom 66% of its health, then every 30 s.
TipWhen the shore turns green, walk to the nearest raft: there is always one within reach in time.
- Latching Leeches
She flings a leech at one of the crowd for every 5 in the fight (at most 6). It drains 104 damage every 1 s for up to 9 s, until someone else stands within 1.8 tiles and pulls it off. Alone, you shake it off by walking 6 tiles away. A red tether runs from each bitten one to her: every bite heals her 0.1% of her health. It snaps when the bitten one gets 10 tiles from her.
WhenFrom 33% of its health. In turns, one move every 7.5 s, the first 5 s into the fight.
TipGot a leech? Walk to the nearest friend. See a friend with one? Step next to them.
- Rage
It turns red with rage: its normal blows come 1.4 times as often, and every blow hits 30% harder.
WhenAt 30% of its health; it lasts to the end of the fight.
TipThe last part is the most dangerous: save your strong skills and potions for it, and dodge the marks as never before.
